Due to an exciting period of growth, we're on the lookout for a superstar to join us as our Library Technician, a brand new role at Thomas More College.

The Library Technician will oversee the daily operations of the Research and Innovation Hub (our 'Library') at Thomas More College.
The role will include:
- Managing the library collection, by utilising professional and relevant theoretical knowledge.
- Supporting the Leader of Research and Resources in delivering a friendly, vibrant, and innovative Research and Innovation Hub to staff and students.
- Supervising and supporting the Research and Innovation Hub (Library) staff.
- Managing library databases.
- Supporting the practical implementation of our 'Lumination' Lab.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Minimum of a Diploma of Library and Information Services (desired) or similar.
- Excellent interpersonal skills which demonstrate positive and restorative approaches to relationships.
- A high level of oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptive to a broad variety of situations.
- Experience in using technologies such as 3D printers would be an advantage.
