Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Customs Director, your key responsibility will be ensuring the timely and compliant lodgement of customs entries, in accordance with Australian legislation. This position offers flexibility to work from any location across Australia or from one of our offices. Joining our close-knit team, you'll play a vital role in sustaining our business success by:
- Accurately lodging entries via Cargowise One, ensuring legislative compliance
- Demonstrating proficiency in DAWR and IFIS lodgement processes
- Upholding our reputation for exceptional customer service through client interactions
- Providing timely and precise advice on tariff classification, FTAs, and processing duties and refunds
- Managing diverse commodity portfolios and handling Tariff Concession Orders
Skills and Qualifications
We seek candidates with:
- 3-5 years of practical Classifier experience
- Currently hold a Customs Broker License and Quarantine accreditation (19.1)
- Compliance with 2023-2024 CPD and CBC requirements, with proficiency in AEP/CW1 systems
- Strong computer literacy and attention to detail
- Team player mentality, with a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
