Role Introduction
Cathay Pacific Airways Australia is looking for a permanent Full-time, Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our Sydney Engineering Team.
This role pivotal in ensuring that a high level of safety, reliability, security and presentation is provided to the company, customers and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and certify routine and non-routine maintenance for Cathay Group aircraft and third party customer aircraft (if applicable) in accordance with the appropriate national authority and customer requirements
- Supervise a team of AMEs and liaise with Airport Services, Cargo and other CX departments to ensure maximum aircraft handling efficiency
- Keep up to date with aircraft systems, technology, processes and procedures
- Ensure safe working practices are applied and all accidents and near misses are reported
- Coordinate and support Cathay Quality Assurance, Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, third party audits, follow up audit findings and implement mitigations to prevent re-occurrence
- Perform local or overseas operational relief duties or the duties of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) as required and in accordance with the relevant
- Provide a high level of customer service
Requirements
- Valid HKCAD B1 (essential)
- Right to work in Australia (essential)
- A330/A350/B777 Approvals (essential)
- B787/B747F (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to adapt and make effective decisions
