Exciting Opportunity

We are actively looking for a Licensed Qualified Technician - Plumber to join our Engineering Services team. Your role involves ensuring smooth delivery of maintenance and engineering services. Responsibilities include undertaking various maintenance activities:  

• Providing supervision support to maintenance personnel when needed
• Ensuring assigned tasks meet defined service levels and are completed accurately
• Monitoring and responding to fault calls promptly, ensuring repairs are done within specified timeframes.
• Collaborating with on-site major works contractors.
• Taking charge of workplace safety, ensuring compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety regulations for the well-being of staff and visitors
• Participate in the on-call roster.

Your qualifications and background

To excel in this position, you should possess relevant experience, ideally within a healthcare setting and a dedication to upholding Ramsay way values. Effective communication and leadership skills along with your ability to inspire and support your team, are crucial.

The ideal candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Trade qualification in Plumbing
• Expertise in Commercial health care plumbing services
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience, preferably within healthcare
• Familiarity with key Australian Standards, associated maintenance knowledge and their impact on hospital operational performance
• Proven ability to work without supervision and take proactive initiatives
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.

Remuneration:  The base hourly rate range from $45.32 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances
