The Company
The company is seeking a person who holds an appropriate Class 1 Real Estate Agents Licence in the state of NSW to act as our Licensee in Charge. We are a small office with a large build-to-rent apartment portfolio, with staff consisting of a LIC, Senior Property Manager, Property Manager, Sales Manager & Sales Assistant. The successful applicant will be required to perform all duties set down under the Property and Stock Agents Act, as well as mentor to the team. A huge portion (95%) of the rent roll are build-to-rent apartment buildings, making this Real Estate Portfolio a breeze to manage.
Duties include:
- Compliance: Ensuring that all real estate activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Supervision: Overseeing the activities of other real estate agents and staff to ensure they are carrying out their duties effectively and ethically.
- Training and Development: Providing training and support to other agents to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Client Relations: Managing relationships with clients, including property owners, buyers, and tenants, to ensure their needs are met and their interests are protected.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks to the agency, such as legal liabilities or financial losses.
- Financial Management: Overseeing the financial aspects of the agency, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Marketing: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract clients and promote properties.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of transactions, contracts, and other important documents.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolving disputes or conflicts that may arise between clients, agents, or other parties involved in real estate transactions.
- Continuing Education: Keeping UP TO date with changes in real estate laws, regulations, and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- If the applicant has Trust Account Management experience, this role is also currently available to fill within the role of LIC.
Skills and experience:
- Class 1 Real Estate Agents Licence (NSW)
- 2+ years of experience as a licence IN CHARGE
- 5+ years of experience in Real Estate
