The Role:
Join the Individual and Family Support Services (IFSS) team – the dedicated program striving to help vulnerable individuals build confidence and connect with resources in the community.
We are currently seeking a Life Skills Facilitator to join our IFSS team in Cannington. The Life Skills Facilitator is responsible for the planning and delivery of life and practical skills sessions and education workshops that respond to the needs, interests, and skill levels of adult participants from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
This position will be offered on a Permanent Part Time basis working 45 hours per fortnight.

Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Education, Community Services, Vocational Education or a related discipline
- Relevant experience in a similar role, including individual support and group facilitation.
- Previous experience managing and supervising volunteers and student placements
- Intermediate computer, numeracy, and literacy skills.
- Intermediate organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Intermediate communication and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality outcomes
- Ability to engage with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Satisfactory Police clearance (not older than 6 months from the issue date)
- Unrestricted drivers’ licence
- Working With Children Check
