Job description

Move With Us is on a mission to empower women to build stronger minds, bodies and habits along their personal health journey. Through our popular Move With Us App, we have created a movement that has transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of women worldwide. And we're just getting warmed up!

This is a newly vacant role joining our Move With Us team, headquartered in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Lifecycle Marketing Lead will be have direct hands-on-tools responsibility for creating and executing campaign and automated workflows that drive engagement, education, retention, and revenue across the user and customer lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have the highest attention to detail, a bias for action, a strong background in email marketing, SMS marketing and push notifications, and a demonstrated track record of building customer journeys on platforms such as Klaviyo.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Audience/Database Growth

  • Deliberately grow the size of the email/SMS database using lead capture techniques such as modals, embedded forms, personalised quizzes, lead magnets or other exclusive content, converting website visitors into qualified leads.
  • Create personalised sequences across email/SMS/push which educate leads on the brand, products, and value to encourage conversion to become a customer.

User Engagement

  • Segment the customer database based on recency, frequency, and depth of engagement within the Move With Us App, as well as patterns of purchase.
  • Identify critical engagement milestones during Free Trial and post-purchase onboarding sequence, and structure lifecycle communications around these moments to provide positive reinforcement for engagement.
  • Deliver a push notification strategy which increases user engagement frequency and depth within the Move With Us App.
  • Plan and execute cohesive lifecycle communications that use multiple mediums (email, push notification, SMS) in a complimentary way to increase overall engagement within the App, and conversion to purchase.

Acquisition

  • Develop nurturing workflows which introduce new audiences to the brand, product offering and value proposition to empower a confident buying decision during their consideration phase.
  • Examine established patterns and factors that have led to successful conversions in the past. Strengthen these existing areas of value to enhance monetisation strategies for increased efficiency.
  • Methodically optimise micro-conversion events throughout Free Trial and welcome series which build to an eventual conversion.
  • Actively coordinate with the eCommerce and Product teams to ensure continuity and progression of messaging down the funnel from email/push/sms to eventual landing pages/screens.

Retention

  • Deploy and execute an overall lifecycle strategy aimed at increasing conversion to our Platinum Membership product, and increasing monthly and annual retention rates for renewing cohorts.
  • Consistently develop the customer journey through proactive product education and behaviourally-triggered communications that support, celebrate progress, and encourage further movement along each customer’s journey within the Move With Us App.
  • Integrate learnings from Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other user feedback loops to improve touchpoints and ultimately increase Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV).
  • Deploy best practices around deliverability, frequency and spam across mediums to ensure we respect user preferences and total outbound communication across lifecycle mediums (push/email/SMS).

Collaboration/Reporting

  • Work collaboratively with wider MWU Team to deliver timely and relevant messages to leads and customers and deliver on education and conversion goals throughout the product release and marketing cycles.
  • Provide key stakeholders with regular updates about the health of customer database, performance against targets/expectations, key learnings, and suggested improvements.
  • Create and own Lifecycle Marketing roadmap which proactively outlines target initiatives to improve the overall lifecycle capability in a strategic or structural way.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS + CAPABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • Daily, hands-on-tools experience with Klaviyo Flows, Campaigns and Reporting.
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus.
  • Strong (copy)writing capability.
  • The highest attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret, draw conclusions, and identify opportunities from data.
  • A passion for health, fitness and overall wellness.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) SKILLS + CAPABILITIES:

  • Confidence reporting on and visualising data within spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4.
  • Experience working with HTML and CSS, including mobile responsiveness.
  • Experience using Push Notification via Klaviyo or similar platforms to complement other lifecycle mediums (email, SMS) and drive engagement and retention.
  • Experience working with Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop.
