Workplace Location
Regis Kingswood is an 100 bed state-of-the-art Aged Care home located around the corner from the Soldier€™s Memorial Gardens and strolling distance to Mitcham Shopping Centre. This home is located in a quiet residential street six kilometres from Adelaide€™s CBD and ten kilometres from the beach.
About the role
As a Lifestyle Assistant, you have a vital role to play in delivering the lifestyle programs and ensuring that all residents are able to participate. We are looking for someone that is passionate about assisting our residents with their daily needs, has great creativity and strives to ensure our residents have personalised lifestyle activities that suit their interests.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out lifestyle assessments of residents
- Actively participate in the delivery of activity programs
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation reflecting any changes to residents status
- Liaise with residents and their families
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge regarding the ACFI framework (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience using a computerised Care Management System (desirable)
- Outstanding computer literacy
Mandatory requirements for all candidates
- Valid National Police Check
- Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
- Evidence that you have had the 2020 Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered*
* The Australian Government has advised that all residential Aged Care staff and visiting workers should be vaccinated by 1 May 2020. This includes both current and future Regis employees.
