Lifestyle Coordinator

At Regis Blackburn, South VIC, we are looking for a passionate individual to join our team of care staff as a Lifestyle Coordinator. As a Lifestyle Coordinator at Regis, You will be responsible for designing and implementing a high-quality calendar of meaningful activities and events. This is a full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) that will support and coordinate staff, volunteers, and community engagement. Regis’ Lifestyle program focuses on individual needs, preferences, and goal setting in order to support and empower our residents to maximize their independence and well-being.How you’ll make an impactBring a smile and make a difference in the lives of others. Actively participate in the delivery of activity programs.Prepare comprehensive and accurate Lifestyle Assessments of residents.Develop lifestyle programs based on individual needs, preferences and goals with the aim to enhance Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Cultural, and Social well being.Ensure complete and accurate documentation reflecting any changes to the resident’s status.Facilitate community engagement opportunities.What we look for A passion for caring for others. Demonstrated understanding of Leisure and Lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Ability to be well organized and work under pressure within timelines.Certificare IV in leisure and health is highly regarded but not essential.Experience in a similar role, ideally in aged care, child care or leisure and health.To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, COVID and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
