SalaryAdventist Aged Care Sydney is currently looking for a casual RAO or Lifestyle Officers or Diversional Therapists at our Wahroonga site, a 94 bedded facility. We are an innovative and well-respected Aged Care provider who focuses on continuing to achieve the best outcomes possible for our residents and our staff.
About the Role:
As the Lifestyle Officer, you will provide assistance to the existing team in providing a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as the well-being program that empower our customer's choices and independence.
Requirements:
Certificate or degree or diploma in Leisure and Health
Prior experience in a similar role
Lively personality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for the elderly
An understanding of Residents Rights, Aged Care Accreditation standards and outcomes

In return, you will be offered above award rates with a supportive management team. Our salary for this position is $28.50 (+ casual loading) and we also offer salary packaging because of our PBI status (non-taxable) for part-time and full time employees.
Buddy shifts are offered for you to get familiar with our systems and residents
Additional support in terms of online training and mentoring also provided.
