AddressDue to continued business growth & success , ACE Load Testing are expanding our team to add an additional Lifting, Rigging and Height Safety PPE inspector to our Bendigo team.
Responsibilities
- Inspection, testing and tagging of our clients’ lifting, rigging and height safety equipment in accordance with the Australian Standards relevant to that equipment.
- Use of industry best-practice online reporting tools, ensuring the requirements of the inspection & testing have been correctly completed.
- Proof Load testing of lifting equipment, in accordance with various Standards and methodologies using specialist industry specific equipment
Manufacture & assembly of items of equipment for customers (custom chain slings, pick/pack/tag customer orders) - Installation and recertification of Height Safety Equipment and installations
- Maintenance and repairs of equipment in line with vigorous Australian Standards requirements, and industry best practice

- Can do, positive attitude – fit & healthy, and not afraid of learning new skills and getting your hands dirty
- Ability to work and communicate in a friendly collaborative manner with customers, suppliers and other staff members.
- Basic computer skills, working with web applications and mobile applications on phone/tablets
- A Driver’s license is essential. Forklift, Crane, Height Safey and other HRW certificates desirable but not essential
- An eye for detail and knowledge retention and a passion for health & safety

Structured induction and formal training in all aspects of the work will be provided in accordance with our NATA accreditation requirements.
Works are performed on both customer sites and in our Bendigo warehouse & workshop. Majority of works conducted during your training phase will be located at our Bendigo facility.
Occasional travel and overnight stays to rural customers may be required
A National Police Check is required as part of this role, as is a medical clearance.
Extremely competitive hourly rate, plus overtime, uniform and phone. Qualified field-based inspectors are provided a vehicle including a portion of personal use.
