Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced Linehaul Drivers to undertake 5 Adelaide to Cobar return trips per fortnight. While market/refrigerated experience is preferred, we are willing to provide training for the right candidates. The role involves some loading and unloading responsibilities, ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections of the vehicle.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the truck, both inside and out.
- Complete daily runsheets and trip sheets accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the workshop for repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S/NHVR regulations.
- Proficiency in using electronic work diaries.
Requirements:
- Valid MC licence.
- Proven experience in long-haul driving preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work night shifts with departures between 6-8.30 pm from Adelaide.
- Flexible and reliable with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
