We want to engage and empower our diverse, global team to co-create value with our customers through our solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground, and finished vehicle transport.YOUR ROLEAs the Linehaul Supervisor at Truganina VIC, you will supervise the Ground Transport linehaul network and source Service Providers to service the changing needs of the customer base. You will also be required to identify any efficiencies within the network to deliver better cost savings to the business.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Specifically, you will:

• Source and allocate daily adhoc linehaul tasks to relevant service providers either internal or external
• Support the creation and maintenance of a GT linehaul network strategy in conjunction with the Linehaul Manager
• Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with the relevant Policies, Procedures and Legislative requirements and conditions, which ensure the health and safety of all staff, and the environment
• Work collaboratively with the Linehaul Manager to prepare business improvement tracking and implementation
• Monitors and manages transport costs by initiating actions to increase revenue or reduce costs
• Use KPIs daily, weekly and monthly to monitor network performance
• Liaises with CEVA operational sites to ensure freight is made available to the carrier within service specifications
• Builds and maintains productive and meaningful relationships with internal and external customers.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Our ideal candidate has experience in supervising / managing transport operations in any industry OR is ready to step-up to this level.You should also have:

• Experience in Transport and Logistics Management
• Sound knowledge of state metropolitan, rural areas and major road routes within Australia
• Ability to comprehend and apply cost control measures to ensure efficient and cost-effective transport operations
• Excellent communication, stakeholder/customer management, and planning skills
• Bonus: Knowledge or previous experience in Ground Transport operations.
