An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and dynamic full-time Link and Launch Coordinator to join the team at Clontarf Beach State High School. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting young people who have recently completed Year 12 but are not engaged in education, employment or training. You will support these recent graduates to navigate their options in choosing a pathway that will equip them to successfully transition into study, training or work. We are seeking a dedicated individual with sound communication skills and industry knowledge who can provide practical assistance to students when required.Job details Position status Fixed Term Temporary

Many of our alumni continue to make a difference in their communities through their professions and readily acknowledge the importance of their foundation education at Clontarf Beach State High School.Your OpportunityAs the Link and Launch Coordinator, you will oversee the delivery of the school-based Link and Launch program, engaging with local agencies, support services, training providers, business and industry partners to maximise opportunities and secure pathways for Year 12 completers at risk of not transitioning to further work or study.Your RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for but not limitied to:

  • foster partnerships with local training, higher education and employment providers;
  • provide practical assistance to young people to access required services to remove barriers to their engagement;
  • market the service and undertake events and initiatives to raise the profile of the role within the school and broader community;
  • work across a number of local schools to ensure Year 12 students are aware of the transition support available upon leaving school; and
  • provide and develop guidance for young people engaged in the program, including identifying pathways, monitoring their ongoing success, and maintaining relevant records
The successful candidate reports to the Director, Link and Launch. For day to day operational matters the Link and Launch Coordinator reports directly to the Principal or Deputy Principal.Interested? To Apply:
