As a Litigation and Regulatory Lawyer within the Office of General Counsel (OGC), you will contribute to all aspects of managing litigation. This includes advising on various regulatory-focused matters, statutory obligations, auditor breach reporting and assisting with general commercial litigation. OGC provides a supportive in-house team environment dealing closely with all levels of the organisation, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal stakeholders.

As a Litigation and Regulatory Lawyer in our Office of General Counsel, your impact will be seen by:
- Managing actual and threatened litigation and advising on potentially contentious and regulatory matters involving the organisation
- Advising on statutory obligations and assisting with enquiries and communications with regulatory authorities
- Assisting with the review, legal analysis and preparation of advice on a variety of client engagements and supplier agreements while working closely with the organisation's risk and compliance teams
- Providing focused and pragmatic solutions to address legal risk and business problems
About You
- You have experience working with teams of lawyers, supporting and consulting senior lawyers
- You have experience in dealing with senior stakeholders (both in written and verbal communications), including an ability to draft clear and precise legal documents and communication
- You have excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to build relationships and influence with impact
- You can identify and consider critical issues and assess and articulate legal risks (including likelihood and impact) so the business can make informed, risk-based commercial decisions
- You can prioritise tasks and manage workflow expectations in line with business requirements
- You are willing to be involved in a variety of matters and an enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
