As an approved In Home Care provider, Little Poppins provides eligible families with the option to access government subsidised Educators to care for their children in their own homes, as well as providing nannies and support workers to private families.
Are you a qualified Educator or studying towards your Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood? Are you looking for a rewarding career working with individual families where you can focus on helping them with their education and childcare needs?
Perhaps you have a passion for caring for children and have always wanted to be a nanny, or have experience or qualifications in the disability support sector.
We are currently looking to employ a number of warm, friendly, experienced Educators and Nannies to join our team. We have a variety of positions available throughout Adelaide and the surrounding suburbs, ranging from several hours per week to several days per week, including casual and ongoing positions.
Rates commence from $32.73 per hour plus 11% Superannuation (for Educators).

All Little Poppins Educators are required to meet and have the following:
- Be studying towards or have completed a Certificate III, Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or Children’s Studies (not required for Nannies).
- Have previous experience caring for children through working in childcare / babysitting / nannying
- 2 verbal child-care related references
- A copy of your current resume detailing your previous experience working with children (in Word format)
- A copy of your current driver’s licence
- Have a Related Employment Screening (WWCC)
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID009)
- Current Safe Environments for Children training (ie. RAN / SEC certificate).
- Be 18 years or over.
If you don’t have your Working with Children Check, Safe Environments for Children or a current First Aid Certificate but are in the process of organising one, you may apply now and provide those documents prior to the scheduling of an interview.
