The Manager Lived Experience Workforce is a valued member of the Mental Health leadership team at Peninsula Health committed to upholding the values of the organisation and meeting our goals. Peninsula Health acknowledges and appreciates the lived experience of our clients and carers and support their individual resourcefulness, strengths and abilities through the provision of excellent, specialised mental health care.
The Manager Lived Experience Workforce will provide leadership in the implementation of the Victorian consumer and carer workforce strategies, and the development of peer workforce framework in line with this at Peninsula Health.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Diploma or above level in health, welfare, community development, and/or adult education (or equivalent experience) or Relevant professional qualification in a health related discipline (psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy or speech pathology) with current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) where applicable
• Demonstrated experience coordinating or working in a mental health program, peer support or lived experience program and/or the development and implementation of consumer/family participation within a mental health service.
• Demonstrated knowledge of recovery orientated practice, trauma informed care and peer support principles.

*Please refer to salary circular for VICTORIAN PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021-2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
