What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is actively seeking an experienced Load Planner Ambient to join our dynamic team based in West Melbourne, VIC. This exciting opportunity comes with a 12-month contract, offering favorable working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Key Responsibilities:

• Daily planning for national linehaul movements for ambient contract
• Direct daily communication and correspondence with multiple operational teams
• Daily troubleshooting/investigation of internal/external enquiries
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective pickup and delivery of customer orders.
• Required to develop and maintain key relationships with customer and carriers.

• Minimum of 2 years in Road/Rail/Sea and Transport Operations or related Transport Industry Experience.
• Intermediate MS Office skills, experience operating load planning software beneficial.
• Well-developed customer service skills & focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively across a range of organisational levels, from senior management to drivers.
