Form of workQualifications & experience
- Minimum of four years experience working in a Perth civils environment. Operating 966 to 980 size loaders.
- Loader ticket, HR license and white card.
- Demonstrate a Strong safety culture by being proactive and leading by example.
- Excavator and dozer experience desirable with appropriate qualifications.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Ability to adhere to site “fitness for work” policies . Including random D+A testing.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Loader operator with a can do attitude.
- Gps fluency with ability to bulk load and trim to tolerance.
- Competent in managing fill area and maintaining stockpiles. Controlling truck movements and ensuring compaction will be achieved in a timely manner.
- Skill level that can work in all types of sand.
- Understanding of earthworks methodologies , compaction requirements and structures of different soil types.
- Ability to make things happen.
- Maintain machine to a high standard and a mechanical understanding to assist with troubleshooting, servicing and maintenance as required.
- Ability to be a team leader and ensure site SWMS and risk assessments are being updated and followed.
