Established in 1978, Bettergrow Pty Ltd has become one of the most innovative recyclers of organic residuals and by-products in Australia. Bettergrow offer a range of practical solutions for a variety of organic, composted and processed recycled products suitable for beneficial re-use in a diversity of markets. Products managed by Bettergrow include drilling slurries, biosolids, garden organics, food waste, grease trap waste, etc.
Bettergrow is in an exciting phase of growth. We are currently seeking an experienced Loader/Excavator Operators to join our Bettergrow team based out of our Ravensworth site.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Loader/Excavator Operations
- Perform property maintenance duties as required.
- Prepare machinery for operation.
- Maintain machinery and equipment by cleaning, lubricating and refuelling it, and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary (servicing and major repairs to be referred to Fleet).
- General Labouring, yard and garden maintenance
To succeed in this role you will possess:
- A hands on approach to getting the job done
- Current Licence
- Experience with operation of a loaders/Excavators
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as a team member
- The ability to work in a safe manner and ensure safe work practices
