They are seeking a Loan Kit Technician to conduct inspections and dispatch tasks following Loan Kit standard operating procedures. As a member of the Loan Kit Inspections and Dispatch teams, this role ensures that kits are delivered completely and punctually to fulfill all customer orders and bookings.
This role is a 12 month FT position with possibility to extend.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently program the correct requirements into the SAP system (including MyMediset) to enable the Loan Kit Technician to fulfill Loan Kit bookings and dispatch tasks daily, prioritizing based on the SAP kit diary and reservation monitor.
- Utilize the SAP system to maintain accurate records of all dispatches and returns, ensuring record accuracy.
- Perform assembly duties in compliance with company policies and procedures, ISO13485 standards, and all OH&S standards and processes.
- Manage kit returns through the SAP kit diary and reservation monitor.
- As a member of the Kits Inspection team, ensure all returned kits are processed daily according to procedures and are ready for reallocation for future surgeries.
- Communicate with hospitals and the sales force regarding any missing instruments or implants for cases.
- Enter, maintain, and update surgeon preferences as requested by Sales Staff to ensure accurate kit supply information.
- Participate in and adhere to stock control processes, including stock takes, managing expired items, and handling excess inventory to ensure compliance with company audit requirements.
- Conduct Quality Assurance checks on all instruments and ensure refurbishment as needed, following the refurbishment program.
- The Loan Kit Coordinator is responsible for effective stock control and ordering stock as required to meet case demands, including replacing damaged or expired stock.
Skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to deal with, internal and external customers.
• Ability to work autonomously consistent with quality approved task instructions and complete tasks to high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and work under pressure to meet client deadlines.
• High level of computer literacy with Microsoft and an ERP system, preferably SAP.
• Some exposure to Inventory and stock control.
