About the opportunity:
In this role, you will work as part of a team to create and dispatch surgical kits for patients requiring life-changing surgeries. You will also be responsible for performing quality inspections on returned surgical kits. You'll need to utilise problem solving skills and work cohesively in a team to deliver the best outcomes for patients.
Duties:
- Accurately picking and packing surgical kits
- Organise the delivery/return of surgical kits
- Quality inspecting returned equipment
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for patients
- Supporting with inventory control
- Cycle counting and stock taking
- General warehouse cleaning/maintenance
- Ad hoc duties
- Must have your own car & valid driving licence
- Willing to undergo a national police check
- Happy to be "on-call" for 1 week in every 4 weeks
- Experience as a Loan Kit Assembler/Technician is highly beneficial
- Ability to use SAP or similar systems is advantageous
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication (verbal and written)
- Passionate to be in healthcare
