Our client, a leading 106-bed regional hospital in Kalgoorlie, is seeking an experienced Locum Consultant Anaesthetist for elective and emergency procedural work.Kalgoorlie Health Campus is one of the largest regional hospitals in Western Australia, providing acute and elective secondary medical and surgical services. Located in the heart of the Goldfields region, known for its rich history, diverse landscape, and thriving mining industry, the hospital serves a wide catchment area. With a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare, the hospital boasts modern facilities and a well-staffed team dedicated to making a positive impact on the community.Position OverviewAs the Locum Anaesthetic Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing timely and effective care to patients presenting at the hospital for acute and elective procedures.Responsibilities

• Pre- operative assessments, peri-operative and post operative care
• Provide clinical guidance and support to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in medical records
• Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements

• FANZCA or equivalent specialist qualification in anaesthesia
• AHRPA Specialist Registration
• Current Working with Children Card and Clinical Record Screening Clearance
• Medical Indemnity Insurance
• Minimum 3 years experience in emergency department in Australia
• PGY6 or above with ALS2 certification
