Our client, recognised as the largest rural health system in Australia, is seeking a seasoned Locum Emergency Physician. The candidate would be driven by the desire to provide high-quality healthcare and emergency services within a dynamic and supportive environment.Company Overview

As a Locum Emergency Physician, you will play an integral role, primarily responsible for the delivery of acute emergency services in a busy 24/7 department. You will get firsthand experience of working in a diverse and fast-paced environment and directly contribute to the wellbeing and health of a regional Australian community.Responsibilities

• Provision of ad-hoc emergency services in an around-the-clock emergency department
• Comprehensive assessment and on-point treatment of patients
• Effective organisation of medical investigations and referrals
• Direct supervision and mentorship of resident medical officers

Requirements

• Fellowship of an Australian/NZ specialist college; or overseas equivalent certified by the CMP and registered with AHPRA
• Recent Clinical Record Screening Clearance (within 12 months)
• Details of current Medical Indemnity Insurance
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable emergency department role
• Proof of PGY6 designation
• ALS2 certification
• Possession of a current Working with Children Card
