The practice is a small rural practice, with 2 doctors . The practice is supported by an experienced Practice Manager, Practice Nurses and Medical Receptionists. The practice prides itself on strong family values with a happy and friendly staff. The practice is seeking a doctor who can work well in a small team.
The applicant should be proficient in all aspects of general practice.
For example:

• Minor Surgery
• Work Medicals
• Aged Care
• Paediatrics
• Emergency Medicine
•  Antenatal and Postnatal Care
• Wound Care

Proserpine is a small rural town situated in the heart of the Whitsundays, with a population of approximately of 3390. It is situated 1142km north of Brisbane, 126km north of Mackay and 262km south of Townsville on the Bruce Highway (A1). The main industry of Proserpine is sugar cane and cattle.

Proserpine has a number of motels, hotels, coffee shops and food outlets that cater for your needs. It is a short 19km drive to Cannonvale where 2 major shopping centres are located such as Centro Shopping Centre & Whitsunday Shopping Centre. Proserpine has public and private schooling options for primary and secondary. It is 25km drive to Airlie Beach your pathway to the beautiful Whitsundays. Proserpine offers a relaxed and easy going lifestyle.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am- 6.00pm. The practice is open on Saturdays.
