Liaise and communicate effectively to facilitate interaction between the General Practice Liaison Officer and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including other executive and senior officers. You will work autonomously and use discretion in the absence of the General Practice Liaison Officer in the resolution of issues, to meet work priorities and set deadlines.

Access theAbout us:Part of the Executive Director Medical Services portfolio which provides governance and strategic and professional leadership to the medical workforce of CQHHS, the General Practice Liaison Office is focussed on developing and maintaining strong clinical partnerships and improving collaboration between CQ Health and our General Practitioner, Primary Health Networks and other internal and external colleagues across Central Queensland to ensure care is integrated across the entire patient journey.About the role:The General Practitioner Liaison Support Officer will provide high level, quality, professional and confidential support to the General Practitioner Liaison Officer in the development, implementation and evaluation of communication and education strategies to improve engagement between CQ Health staff and General Practitioners, Primary Health Networks, and other stakeholders across Central Queensland.
- Develop and maintain databases, systems, and processes to enhance the organisation effectiveness for the management of correspondence, records, and resources.
- Collaborate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes, and work practices to identify areas for improvement and recommend, negotiate, and implement enhancements to existing practices.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written communication skills that reflect the ability to liaise effectively, diplomatically, and discretely at all levels of the organisation and with other government and non-government agencies, organisations, and General Practitioners.
- Advanced knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in contemporary computer software applications.
- Proven ability to utilise a high degree of initiative, decision making and negotiation skills and reliably and independently operate with minimal guidance and direction.
- An hourly rate between $44.47 - $49.00 p.h.
