Locum Occupational Therapist required for a locum in North Queensland. I've had great feedback from other locums. You will join a great team of allied health clinicians, including other
Occupational Therapists. The caseload will cover:
- Adults and paediatrics
- NDIS
- Clinic based appointments and home visits (car provided)
- Paediatric conditions (ASD, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, down syndrome, etc)
- Adult conditions (stroke, ABI, amputation, musculoskeletal conditions, etc)
- Home visits and equipment prescription and home modifications
- You will work with a mix of cultural backgrounds, age groups, and demographics
- Outreach trips to surrounding communities
12 week locum, ideally to start in the next 4 weeks.FREE accommodation, a private room in a share house. There may or may not be other occupants depending on timing. A car is also provided for local use. Return flights reimbursed.Ideally, you will have experience across:
- NDIS Paediatrics; and
- CHSP / HCP /Older Adults
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working ordering products through: Medical Aid Subsidy Scheme & Geat 2 Go
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people preferred but not essential
