Occupational Therapist – Contractor

Join this dedicated service on a fee-for-service basis as they endeavor to make a last difference to the lives of the elderly and clients with a disability. Provide therapy, assessments, and equipment prescription to My Aged Care and adult NDIS clients in the local Townsville and Ayr community.

• Generous contracting rates of 70% of the charge out rate – $135.80/hour with NDIS clients.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide services on a fee-for-service basis to a warm, passionate service. This well-established and experienced Occupational Therapy team welcomes a Contract OT to conduct assessments and deliver services to clients in the Townsville and Ayre region.The role:This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on fee for service contracting work-from-home role with other friendly therapists. You will:

• Complete assessments and reports.
• Deliver services to clients in the community.
• Liaise and communicate with any relevant stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations and prescription of equipment

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration)
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families
• Occupational Therapy Experience with NDIS & My Aged Care clients is desired

• The ability to work effectively on an independent basis

• A good work from home/office set up
• ABN & insurances (or willingness to obtain these).

• Current driver's licence and your own reliable car
