Bollé Safety is a shining star of the France-based Bollé Brands group, which also incorporates the Bollé, Spy Optics and Serengeti brands. We have regional offices worldwide, including our Asia Pacific headquarters in Heatherton, Victoria.
Due to extensive growth in prescription safety eyewear, we are currently seeking dispensers (sub-contractors) for all states and territories, including regional and remote centres. Areas with immediate work available include Darwin, Townsville, and Perth (preferably north of Perth).
As a Locum Dispenser you will be required to work across multiple client sites to provide onsite technical assistance with frame and lens selection.
You must be passionate about what you do and be willing to travel to remote centres (if required). Dispensing students will also be considered.
Services Required:
- Attend Bollé Safety’s customer’s premises, accompanied by Bollé Safety sales representatives
- Assess the business of the Customer, and the job safety requirements of the Customer’s personnel
- Review the optical prescriptions of the Customer’s personnel
- Give advice on suitable safety goggle / eye protection / eyewear frames and lens types from the Bollé Safety “Rx” range
- Take optical measurements
- Process orders into Bollé Safety’s webshop portal
You must:
- Have an ABN and associated business insurances
- Dispensing qualification (or working towards one)
- Be open to piecemeal work, at various different times and locations
Desired skills and experience:
- Understanding of the prescription eyewear market
- A technical understanding of optical dispensing
- Understanding of domestic certification standards
- Past ‘hands-on’ experience with optical customers
- Effective communication and presentation skills
