Logistics / Load-Out Operator & Production Workers

With a manufacturing plant situated in Dimboola, VIC, Blue Lake Milling is a premium oat and cereal grain manufacturer that supplies retail and bulk products across Australia, New Zealand, and key export markets.  We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are interested in either the below roles:

• Logistics / Load-Out Operator
• Production Worker

Successful applicants will begin on a probationary period, with opportunity for a permanent position after successful completion.

Established in 1873, Blue Lake Milling prides itself on being 100% Australian owned by farmers as part of the largest co-operative in Australia, the CBH Group.  Whilst we are based in the local community of Bordertown, SA, we also have manufacturing sites in VIC and WA, and have more than 180 employees across the sites as well as remote working from home.  We have continued to grow into both national and international markets.

 The Logistics/Load-Out Operator role will involve:

• Liaising with Production and Transport Operations to ensure timely and safe dispatch of product.
• Processing of inbound and outbound orders.
• Operation of forklift.

The Production Worker role will involve:

• Basic machine operating.
• Frequent manual handling duties.
• Ensuring products meet quality and customer standards.
• Working alongside our team to promote a positive safety culture.
• General housekeeping duties.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• You have a strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety & Quality protocols.
• You have good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• You have a current forklift licence (for Logistics/Load-Out role).
• You are familiar with using a computer and Microsoft Office suite.
• You have the ability to work effectively unsupervised.
• You have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Although not required, experience in a warehouse / factory environment is advantageous.
• You have full working rights in Australia.
