The Opportunity
Contribute to the operation of manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure optimum speeds and quality throughout the plant.
- Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment to ensure optimum speeds and quality.
- Perform routine in-process checks during production.
- Manufacture and Package products in accordance with specifications
- Accurate recording of documentation batch production records, including production reporting to management
- Clean production areas and equipment in accordance with appropriate time intervals; and
- Participate in the implementation of agreed process improvement initiatives in the Plant.
What you’ll bring
You will be a motivated self-starter who is able to work autonomously, is solutions focused with strong attention to detail. You will be safety focused always ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
- Current Forklift License highly regarded.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is ideal.
- Sound understanding of quality and workplace health and safety standards, legislation and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience working with Lean principals highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail in all areas of work
