To service this network, Inland Petroleum utilises a modern fleet of company tankers fitted with the latest industry safety and tracking technology. Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Logistics Scheduler Assistant.
The Logistics Scheduler Assistant role includes but is not limited to the following:
- The main focus of the position is to conduct fuel reconciliations. The performance of this function involves ensuring all invoices and trips are entered in a timely and accurate manner. This is a key part of the wholesale business that directly affects Inland’s financial performance.
- The position is also responsible for assisting Logistics Schedulers with load plans.
- The position is also responsible for processing 7-day accounts for resellers, transport companies, and large wholesale accounts. This requires organisation of work to ensure that bank processing and statements are produced to ensure 7-day accounts are properly maintained.
- The Logistics Scheduler Assistant will assist employees in completing electronic work diaries and verifying drivers work sheets, communicating jobs with the drivers and other administrative and organisational tasks of the Logistics Office.

- Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not essential
- Transport Industry Experience is preferred but not essential
This is a fast-paced and high-intensity environment; previous experience within the logistics industry would be highly regarded but not essential for this position.
You must have sound is written and verbal communication and the ability to adapt to change. You should also have intermediate or advanced computer literacy.
This position would pay an industry-leading salary commensurate with experience in the transport sector.
Hours would be a minimum of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an expectation of some weekend work.
