We seek a full-time Logistics Coordinator/ Scheduler to be based out of our National Distribution Centre in Eastern Creek. This is a fast paced but very rewarding role, that will require you to work efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities
- Plan routes and schedule loads for multi-drop deliveries, taking into account factors such as delivery windows, vehicle capacities, and traffic conditions.
- Coordinate and book deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Liaise with customers to confirm delivery details, address any concerns, and provide updates on delivery status.
- Allocate and record resources and movements in the transport planning system to maintain accurate records and ensure optimal use of resources.
- Collaborate with partners in the supply chain to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their requirements and providing timely updates and solutions to meet their needs.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a scheduling role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of scheduling principles and practices.
- Ability to make quick decisions while minimizing the impact on customers, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record and maintain scheduling information and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, showing empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Desirable: Knowledge of SAP or similar transport planning systems, demonstrating the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems.
