LOGISTICS STORES PERSON - DUBBO

Position: Logistics Stores Person

Start: Immediate

Location: Dubbo

• Full time hours
• $50 per hour + Super

Our government client is seeking a Logistics Stores Person to join their team in Dubbo. The role is responsible for maintaining specific campus stores operations to ensure availability of materials, equipment, and consumables to support current and future business delivery needs.

The main duties for the role include:

• Maintain a secure and clean storage facility
• Materials/equipment ordering
• Receipting, issuing, stock control and administration
• Provide materials/equipment to internal staff, including specific inventories to teachers in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Receive and store incoming materials/equipment, inspecting and ensuring accuracy and quality of goods as intended.
• Perform work or use equipment reliant on holding formal licences (such as forklift and drivers licences) to undertake stores/logistics activities including unloading and distribution of goods, moving vehicles and pallets, undertaking essential training and obtaining relevant licences as required.

To be successful you will require:

• Good communication skills
• Current NSW Drivers Licence
• Forklift ticket (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work in line with all WHS requirements
• Good computer skills
• Willing to undergo a Police Check and Working with Children Check

This assignment will run up until the end of June 2024 with the potential to be extended.
