The Role
Reporting to the Logistics Support Analyst (LSA) Supervisor you will be responsible for building and maintain outstanding stakeholder relationships, both internally and with our external Contractors.
The primary focus of this role will include (not limited to):
- Ensure efficient flow of goods, services and information within agreed timeframes
- Provide advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to Support and Test Equipment (S&TE) activities
- Contribute to the development and delivery of S&TE plans and reporting requirements
- Establish and manage Logistics Information (LI) and Maintenance Management Systems (MMS)
- Conduct technical spares assessment including assessing, identification, support system optimisation and special spares assessing tasks
- Conduct stock requirement management activities, including stock holdings assessments, sparing usage management, and burn down rate calculations.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity it is expected that you have knowledge and experience in Logistics Supportability, ideally as it relates to defence. A background in an aeronautical trade is preferred (but not essential). Previous experience in the use of the Australian Defence Force inventory system, MILIS, would also be an advantage. Experience in a similar role is expected, as is the ability and personal attributes conducive to working effectively in a team environment with persons of various backgrounds and seniority to achieve desired results whilst maintaining a high level of customer confidence is essential.
You will also bring with you:
- Knowledge, ability and experience in maintenance and repair methodologies
- Experience in the planning of material management and equipment associated within a large and technically complex facility
- Experience and knowledge of material planning and tracking of scheduled work programs within a quality system
- Experience liaising with service contractors and service providers
