About you:

To be considered for this opportunity it is expected that you have knowledge and experience in Logistics Supportability, ideally as it relates to defence. A background in an aeronautical trade is preferred (but not essential). Previous experience in the use of the Australian Defence Force inventory system, MILIS, would also be an advantage. Experience in a similar role is expected, as is the ability and personal attributes conducive to working effectively in a team environment with persons of various backgrounds and seniority to achieve desired results whilst maintaining a high level of customer confidence is essential.

You will also bring with you:

• Knowledge, ability and experience in maintenance and repair methodologies
• Experience in the planning of material management and equipment associated within a large and technically complex facility
• Experience and knowledge of material planning and tracking of scheduled work programs within a quality system
• Experience liaising with service contractors and service providers

Your responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Logistics Support Analyst (LSA) Supervisor you will be responsible for building and maintain outstanding stakeholder relationships, both internally and with our external Contractors is a key component to the success of this role.

The primary focus of this role will include (not limited to):

• Ensure efficient flow of goods, services and information within agreed timeframes
• Provide advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to Support and Test Equipment (S&TE) activities
• Contribute to the development and delivery of S&TE plans and reporting requirements
• Establish and manage Logistics Information (LI) and Maintenance Management Systems (MMS)
• Conduct technical spares assessment including assessing, identification, support system optimisation and special spares assessing tasks
• Conduct stock requirement management activities, including stock holdings assessments, sparing usage management, and burn down rate calculations.
