Loss Adjuster, Home

Sedgwick is now seeking a proactive, driven and experienced Loss Adjuster to join our team. Through a combination of phone, email and face to face communication you will be responsible for clarifying and verifying the circumstances nature and extent of loss and damage our Clients Customers have experienced.

What are my accountabilities?

  • Quantifying the reinstatement work required to get the Customers life back on track
  • Calculating policy liability and providing recommendations to our Clients;
  • Settle claims and engage with local suppliers to manage the repair and replacement of damaged items
  • Report writing and regular engagement with all stakeholders

About you :
  • Ideally you will have some insurance claims experience, however we would look to build your capability and understanding through structured training and on the job training
  • Key communication skills along with an effective report writing abaility will be key to your success in this role
  • A passion to provide great customer service and engage with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Self-motivated, with good time-management and organisational skills;
  • Current driver's licence as you will need to be in the field for part of your role
