AddressThe Beaufort is seeking a strong Restaurant Manager with proven experience in high-end restaurants and a real passion for hospitality for our award-winning restaurant Lotus.
Lotus is our modern-Asian restaurant, headed by renowned Executive Chef Sundoo Kim, with two indoor levels and an outdoor terrace. The restaurant showcases big & bold flavours that are always balanced to perfection, an incredible wine list, cocktail program and beverage offering.
As the Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for the daily operations of our 150 seat venue. We are looking for an outstanding individual who will strive to make our guests time with us an unforgettable experience and has a strong focus on high standards of service. The smooth running of Lotus - alongside motivating and training the team, will be key areas of your role.
Future team members will be aligned with our vision by demonstrating:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar high volume, fast paced role
- Ensuring all operations are in line for smooth service and a memorable guest experience
- A genuinely charismatic, energetic personality with a desire to succeed
- Ability to monitor employees for professionalism and presentation with performance management and mentoring as required
- A positive and respectful management style
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability with weekend shifts an expectation
- Must have a current WA RSA Certificate and full Australian working rights
- Experience in training of staff in service delivery, service recovery and motivating upselling items across all menus
- Strong beverage knowledge - can shake a cocktail when needed or advise on the perfect pairing of wine to food
- The Restaurant Manager will also have the ability to effectively balance bookings (Nowbookit) and flow in the restaurant for maximum financial impact whilst maintaining an excellent standard of service
- Wine knowledge favourable
