Job Summary

Opening a new store is a huge opportunity to build your store and team from the ground up. We onboard our Head and Deputy Coach Team three months out from opening to give you a full brand immersion and induction.

So, what's involved in the lead up to opening a new store?

Heating up the Community - Localise and create your ultimate opening day activations/giveaways by connecting with brand partners. Getting out and sweating with our local fitness partners and community. Building awareness about the store opening and connecting with our LSKD community. 

Hiring and Inducting your store team - Working with People and Culture to facilitate Group interviews, select your team of Educators and induct them into Team LSKD. 

Community Marketing - Build community connections through a localised pre opening event tour as well as popping in to connect with our brand partners.
You will take this opportunity to build relationships with local athletes and mavens who align with our mission and values. 

Our new Flagship Pacific Fair Store is on the lookout for a strong leader to be our Deputy Coach (Store Assistant Manager). This role is a key support to the Head Coach (Store Manager) in creating the best experience for our LSKD community. Leading with our values, this role will be hands on developing the store team and culture, driving key strategic results and ensuring profitable growth of their store in day-to-day management. 

Coaching & Leading from the front: 

• Co-create the store vision based on the core LSKD values and align to local events and initiatives.  
• Represent our brand and create a community - celebrate how our customers are inspired to be 1% better everyday.
• Build a world class team - facilitate the store’s training and education process, including onboarding through the LSKD Academy.
• Enjoy the Journey - celebrate and recognise the team's growth and successes. 
• Encourage collaboration within the team, lean on individuals experience - there's a better way to do it, find it!
• Support ongoing learning and development of your team - support and reinforce team understanding of how working at LSKD will contribute to career and personal growth, and help the team set career and personal goals.

Operations

• Plan floor coverage (using Deputy rostering platform) and make decisions to meet our customer in the best way and maintain the effectiveness of  store operations
• Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• This is a Leadership role directly responsible for all store employees and the day to day operation of the store.
