Are you committed to upskilling and diversifying your light vehicle trade to a Heavy Duty Trade Qualification and start/continue a career in mining?The Trainee Heavy Duty Mechanic is a Permanent Full-Time career opportunity to join our team based out of our Mt Thorley Workshop in NSW on a Monday to Friday basis with 38 regular working hours. In no time you will be able to Repair and maintain a range of mining equipment and plant including but not limited to CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi.Key Applicant Criteria

• To have completed a Light Vehicle Trade (Cert III)
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Forklift and dogging preferred.
• Minimum 2 years post trade experience
• Commitment to continuous learning and study
• Ability to complete a full Pre-Employment Medical
• Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.
• Team player who will adhere to and promote BTP's Values & Behaviours.
