What you’ll be doing:
Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be tasked with providing the primary data that unlocks the opportunity of AI that supports better decision-making for the business and their customers. You will spearhead the evaluation and enhancement of pipelines, ensuring seamless integration, deployment, and comprehensive reporting for our predictive analytics solutions.
Managing a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, you will provide coaching and mentoring and be responsible for growing and boosting the team around you. In this role, you will craft innovative solutions to address complex data challenges, leveraging your strong foundation in software engineering and expertise in operationalising Machine learning models.
Collaborating within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of experts spanning various fields, you will tackle diverse challenges where no two days are the same.
Experience required:
You will have at least 3 years of experience in Machine learning and have a strong background using Python. You will be at mid to senior level where you have previously coached and mentored more junior engineers and have previous will have relevant tertiary qualifications.
You will be based in the Newcastle region and be able to travel to the office at least 3 days per week. You will ideally have experience with R or MATLAB, but if not, we would still love to hear from you.
