With Sealy's continued success and growth, there is now an exciting opportunity to join a market leading brand at its state of the art production facility in Villawood on a permanent basis in our production team.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and operating mechanical equipment involved in the manufacture of premium quality bedding.
You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, a team player and attention to detail.
Previous Machine Operator skills in a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded, but not essential.
Your duties will include:
Working collaboratively with the production team to support continuous improvement and coordinate workflow to maintain seamless operations.
Set up, operate, and clean mechanical equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). We pride ourselves on our safety-first standards at all times.
Maintaining 6S (Sort, set in order, Shine, Safety, Standardise, Sustain) standards of appearance for equipment/area.
As part of our team, you will need to be physically fit and capable of standing on your feet for extended periods and lifting 20kg +
Monitor product quality throughout the production process, conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues to supervisors.

You must be able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical + drug and alcohol check.
