We are seeking multiple Machine Operators with fixed plant operating experience to work within our Masonry production team based at Middle Swan. These positions work a shift rotation consisting of 12 hour day / night shift/s, (8 shifts per fortnight). Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Contribute to our strong safety culture
- Operation and monitoring of manufacturing equipment to ensure quality and throughput are achieved to a high standard.
- Record production and quality documentation to a high standard
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure machines maintain a high standard of safety and performance.
- Maintaining and promoting a safe and clean work environment
- Previous experience manufacturing or minerals processing (Brick/Tile/Masonry manufacturing experience highly regarded);
- Ability to work independently within a team environment;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- Ability to work under pressure within time constraints;
- Strong attention to detail;
- A current driver’s licence;
- The ability to work on a continuous shift roster.
