Our client is one of Australia's best known specialty food manufacturers and is a major supplier to supermarkets, foodservices and retailers. At present, they have an opportunity for a self-driven and enthusiastic individual to work as a PASTEURISER/MACHINE OPERATOR in a manufacturing environment. With an outstanding reputation for excellent product quality, innovation and service through investment in research and development, manufacturing and sales, they are looking to extend this competitive advantage by engaging additional staff to continuously improve the quality of their product and the performance of their operations.
Key job tasks will include:
- Plan and execute the daily plans for the pasteurising department and other machine types
- Maintain a clean, presentable and GMP complied facilities
- Meet standards and stringent deadlines while keeping operational costs at minimum possible level
- Follow all SOP's for all current processes
- Ensure that all pasteurising activities are aligned with the quality system and quality objectives of the business
Key Attributes for this role:
- Experience in GMP/food manufacturing environment highly regarded
- Machinery operation and troubleshooting
- Numeracy and literacy skills essential
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Self-motivated, willing to take initiative
- Energetic with a can do attitude
