Form of workSkillforce Recruitment is currently recruiting for our valued client based in Narangba. Our Client is seeking reliable, dedicated, experienced Machine Operators within a galvanising department.
Hours are: Monday to Thursday, 5am to 1:30pm and Friday, 5am to 11:30am
These positions will not suit Restricted Visa Holders or Student Visa Holders as our client could potentially be offering Temp to Perm positions. Must be Australian citizens, Permanent residents or NZ citizens only.
The role
- Operating hand and power tools
- Must have previous manufacturing experience - Steel/Metal industry would be highly regarded
- Valid Forklift Ticket - Desirable but not essential
- Overhead crane experience would be highly regarded but not essential
- Basic spot welding - training provided
- Experience with operating machinery
- Reliable transport - no public transport close to site
- Able to work Monday to Friday
- Looking for long term opportunity
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Can do manual lifting up to 20kgs
- High awareness of site safety regulations
- Can handle working in a hot environment
