You will be responsible for the upkeep of all our wonderful Disability Support homes across wider Sydney, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm. You will have a vehicle provided and days where you will be working alone or in a team with the help of our supported employees. $25.14 per hour Level 3 Landscaping Services award 2020
Duties:- Complete property maintenance tasks on homes.
- Care & Maintenance of grounds, gardens & hard surfaces.
- Operating machinery & equipment like ride on mowers, push mowers, edgers, blowers, spray units, fertilizer spreaders.
- Weed lawns, garden beds, mulch garden beds.
- Designing & preparing garden beds and plant out.
- Trimming & pruning shrubs & trees.
- Care & Maintenance of outdoor furniture.
- General maintenance of fences, gates, cloths lines, any outdoor equipment.
- Remove rubbish, debris, broken furniture from sites.
- Keep site appearance to a clean, safe & high standard.
Some of our requirements:
- P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher
- Availability to work 5 days per week 7:30-3:30 mon-fri
- Working with Childrens check and NDIS Workers check or willingness to obtain
- 3 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine
- 2 years experience as a gardener/horticulturalist.
- Knowledge of lawns, soils, plant care & gardening techniques.
- Ability to operate mowing machinery & lawn care equipment.
