AddressBased in Parkinson Queensland, and operating out of the largest of its kind, state of the art custom built warehouse, for over 30 years F & M Fabricators have worked hard to become the leading manufacturer of specialised roofing accessories in the country.
We are currently looking to add to our experienced and friendly team with a position available for a Slitter/Folder to be based in our state-of-the-art warehouse in Parkinson.
Your role:
- Performing general machine operating duties and keep work-spaces tidy
- Responsible for the operation of slitting and folding
- Use of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining a high quality of work with all fabrication products
- Assisting other team members when required.
- Following work health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Morning shift - 5.00am to 12.45pm Monday to Thursday and 5.00am to 12.00pm on Fridays.
About you:
- Previous experience with machine operation within a manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic
- A dedication to a high standard of output and accuracy.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team within a busy environment.
- Ability to work to deadlines and available for overtime when required.
- Have a strong understanding of adherence to WHS requirements.
- Ability to carry out manual lifting and handling.
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to take instruction from supervisors and management
- Honest, reliable, and punctual
- Permission to work in Australia
