About the Position
We are currently looking for Machine Operators and Labourers to drill footing holes, operate excavators, mark out sites and install posts on small and larger scale construction sites. We have a proud history of internal development for all staff that show initiative and commitment. Casual and Permanent opportunities are available and we are open to different levels of experience. You will be part of crew working on various jobs that will involve manual handling tasks out of the machine as well.
We are also recruiting for a new yard person based at our Wakerley yard to help unload and load trucks and assist in the dispatch of goods to multiple sites. A forklift lic. is required and warehouse/logistics experience desirable.
Core duties include:
- Boring holes to required footing depths
- Follow project specific requirements for substrate types
- Operate 5T, 20T & 40T excavators
- Set up & load machinery
- Machine maintenance, cleaning and quality checking
- Ensure security of machines on site
- Measuring and marking up site
- Follow company health & safety guidelines

About You
To be successful in Machine Operator role you will hold a current excavator ticket, skid steer ticket and/or front end loader ticket. For the Yard person role a Forklift Lic. is required. All labouring roles require a minimum of 1 years experience in construction. You will also require a current driver’s license and white card. A positive attitude, ability to work well within a team and strong communication and interpersonal skills will go a long way!
Experience is highly regarded but not necessary as on the job training will be provided.
Exposure to the construction industry is highly regarded.
