Macintyre Wind Farm - Qualified Electrician

Professional Wind Services have begun Installation works at the Macintyre Wind Farm, and are seeking applications from qualified and competent Electrical Tradespeople to join our team. 

Consisting of 162 WTG's, the Macintyre project will be one of the largest Wind Farms under construction in Australia. In an enviable location just 3 hours from Brisbane, this project is due for completion in late 2024.

Activities include, but are not limited to:

• Pre-assembly
• Turbine erection
• LV and HV cabling
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning electrical systems
• Mechanical components

Must: 

• Current GWO Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Unrestricted Electrical License 
• CPR/Low-Voltage Rescue
• Drivers Licence
• White Card
• Australian Citizen or valid right to work in Australia
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
• Great people/communication skills and able to work in a team

Desirable:

• Previous Wind Turbine Installation
• High Risk Work Licensing: Dogging / Working Platform (advantage, but not essential)
