Major energy company requires 3x Site Engineers / project engineers for a series of large Wind Farm projects. Electrical, Mechanical or Civil degree

Description:
- 3 x Site Engineers / project engineers required
- Responsible for leading, coordinating and overseeing the principal contractor from a project engineering perspective
- Site based and generally work 5 days per week with additional hours as required by exception.
- Contract position, with potential for extension or to transition to staff.
- Ideally the incumbent will be sourced from and live within the local region (Jindowae / Dalby / Kingaroy area) or DIDO Monday to Friday with camp accommodation provided
- Provide technical advice to the contractor, supervise the contractor on site and ensuring that their packages are completed on time, in line with legal guidelines and within budget.
- Comply with all applicable HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections / audits and action as required.
- Actively promote and lead by example on safety.
- Support the Project Director and Project Manager in the development, monthly reviews and reporting of the Project budget.
- Support, develop and implement stakeholder communication and engagement plans for site activities.
- Liaise with the contractor organisations to arrange resources to cover upcoming contractor works.
- Maintain relationships with participating landowners, near neighbours, traditional owners and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the project document control is maintained
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Holder of construction industry ‘White Card’ or similar.
- Proven experience as a site Engineer or project engineer within large projects, ideally energy-related projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in coordination and project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High focus on safety within a major project environment
- Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
